Terms of Use
Effective and last updated: August 27, 2026
1. Acceptance and operator
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of getcallassistant.com, the GetCallAssistant live demonstration phone line, and related inquiry features. By using them, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or demonstration.
GetCallAssistant operates from Ontario, Canada. Contact us at hello@getcallassistant.com or +1 (346) 521-3995. You must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to use the demonstration or request services. If acting for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.
2. Website information is not a service contract
The website describes a one-time configuration, training, testing, and handover service for third-party call-assistant, telephony, messaging, and related tools. GetCallAssistant does not claim ownership of those third-party platforms. Website content, examples, cost estimates, and availability are general information and may change.
Submitting a form, sending a message, or making a demonstration call does not create a client relationship, reserve capacity, or require either party to proceed. Paid work begins only after the parties approve a separate written proposal, order, or statement of work identifying the legal parties, scope, price and currency, taxes, payment schedule, third-party charges, delivery assumptions, acceptance and handover steps, cancellation terms, and any included correction period.
3. One-time setup price and third-party costs
The standard service is sold as a one-time setup project. GetCallAssistant does not charge a required monthly subscription, management retainer, or maintenance fee after the agreed setup is accepted and handed over. The CA$450 website price applies to the standard scope described on the site; a written proposal will confirm whether that standard scope fits the requested workflow before work begins.
Unless a written proposal expressly includes them, taxes, telephone numbers, call usage, transfers, premium voices or models, provider subscriptions, complex integrations, and other third-party charges are separate from our setup fee. Whenever reasonably available, the client pays those providers directly through client-controlled accounts. Provider charges may be recurring or usage-based even though GetCallAssistant does not charge a recurring management fee.
The website's usage calculator is an estimate based on stated assumptions; actual cost varies with call duration, phone numbers, routing, transfers, provider pricing, taxes, and use. Third-party costs are not marked up or collected by us unless a written proposal clearly says otherwise. No payment is collected through this website.
Before accepting paid work, we will provide a written scope and price and an opportunity to review and correct the information. Refund, rescheduling, and cancellation rights will be stated in the written agreement and remain subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable law.
4. Live demonstration rules
The live demonstration is a limited test environment. When using it, you agree that:
- the call may be recorded, transcribed, summarized, and analyzed after a recording notice;
- you will use fictional or non-sensitive test information only;
- you will not use it for emergencies, real appointments, legal or medical advice, financial decisions, or other high-risk purposes;
- the demonstration may end automatically because of silence, spam, misuse, capacity, time limits, or technical conditions;
- any apparent booking or request is illustrative and is not a confirmed appointment or accepted order; and
- your telephone carrier may charge for the call, including long-distance or international charges.
You may not use the demonstration to harass, deceive, threaten, test illegal content, interfere with systems, reverse engineer safeguards, consume excessive resources, or violate another person's privacy or rights. We may block or discontinue misuse.
5. Client responsibilities
If you engage us, you remain responsible for:
- providing accurate, lawful, and approved business information and reviewing the call flow before launch;
- deciding what the assistant may say, collect, promise, schedule, transfer, or escalate;
- obtaining required notices and consents from callers, including for recording, transcription, AI processing, and marketing;
- ensuring your use complies with privacy, consumer protection, professional, accessibility, telemarketing, and sector-specific rules;
- protecting credentials, provider accounts, records, and devices under your control; and
- managing caller notices, retention settings, access permissions, and operational use of the handed-over system after project completion; and
- maintaining a human process for urgent, sensitive, disputed, or out-of-scope matters.
Unless expressly agreed in writing after an appropriate compliance review, the service is not designed to make clinical, legal, credit, insurance, employment, or emergency decisions or to collect payment-card data, health records, government identifiers, or passwords.
6. Third-party services and accounts
The setup depends on third-party platforms selected or approved for the project. Their separate terms, privacy practices, availability, geographic coverage, acceptable-use rules, verification requirements, and fees apply. Providers may change features or prices, reject numbers, experience outages, or suspend accounts. We are not responsible for a third-party service outside our reasonable control, but we will perform the agreed configuration and testing with reasonable care.
We intend to configure production accounts in the client's name or under the client's control whenever the selected provider permits it. At handover, the client receives the agreed administrative access, configuration, call records, and available export or portability information described in the written scope. The client must pay third-party fees and keep required accounts in good standing unless the proposal expressly says otherwise.
The client owns the business information and call data it supplies or generates, subject to the rights and technical limits of the selected providers. Provider software, telephony numbers, models, and platform components remain governed by provider terms and are not transferred intellectual property owned by GetCallAssistant.
7. Acceptance, handover, and later changes
We test the agreed call flow and provide the client an opportunity to review it before launch or handover. If the delivered setup does not match the written scope, we will make the corrections required to match that scope without another setup charge, subject to the review and acceptance process in the written agreement.
After acceptance and handover, GetCallAssistant has no obligation to continuously monitor, maintain, retrain, update, or operate the system unless the client separately requests and approves additional work. New business information, call flows, languages, integrations, provider migrations, troubleshooting caused by later provider or client changes, and other improvements are outside the completed setup unless expressly included in writing. We are happy to assist, but we will confirm a separate scope and price before beginning that work. There is no automatic renewal.
The client may remove our access after handover. If later assistance is requested, the client may grant limited access for the agreed task and revoke it when the work is complete.
8. AI limitations and no outcome guarantee
Voice and AI systems can misunderstand speech, accents, noise, names, numbers, intent, or incomplete information and may sometimes produce an incorrect response. Testing reduces but does not eliminate these risks. You must review important outputs and maintain appropriate human oversight.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular response time, compatibility with every caller or carrier, or any number of calls, leads, appointments, sales, revenue, savings, or conversions. Any setup guarantee stated on the website concerns completion of the agreed configuration and corrections within the agreed scope, not business outcomes.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
GetCallAssistant and its original website content, designs, documentation, and reusable methods remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You retain rights in the business information and materials you supply and grant us permission to use them only to evaluate, build, test, hand over, and perform any separately requested later work. Deliverables and access rights for a paid project are defined in its written agreement.
You may not copy, resell, scrape, or commercially exploit the website or demonstration. General feedback may be used without restriction provided it does not identify you or reveal your confidential information.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the public website and demonstration are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties that may lawfully be excluded. GetCallAssistant will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profit, lost opportunity, or lost data arising from the public website or demonstration.
For paid services, liability is governed first by the applicable written agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits rights available under applicable consumer-protection law. Where liability for the public website or demonstration cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us specifically for that use, or any greater minimum amount required by law.
11. Governing law, changes, and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory rights that apply in your location. Subject to such mandatory rights, disputes concerning the public website or demonstration will be brought before the courts located in Ontario.
We may update these Terms for operational, service, or legal reasons. The effective date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively when posted; material changes will be highlighted where appropriate. Questions or complaints may be sent to hello@getcallassistant.com.
